Scottish rock trio Biffy Clyro will be performing at the Trocadero in Philly on Thursday, 10/10 (get tickets here). They’re currently touring in support of their latest LP Opposites (listen on Spotify). Below, see a video that the fellas recently posted on Facebook announcing the show.
Indeed, absence does make the heart grow fonder. Earlier this year, the band had to cancel many of their shows (including most of their tour supporting Muse, as well as a scheduled show in Philly for a 104.5 Block Party) when frontman Simon Neil was diagnosed with severe respiratory issues and was advised by doctors to take a break to recover. Having recently headlined the humongous Reading and Leeds Festivals in the UK, US audiences will be lucky to see Biffy Clyro in such intimate venues. Their show in Philly will be their last before heading back across the pond. Their show on 10/9 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn has already sold out in advance, so you best jump on those Trocadero tickets with the quickness (get tickets here). See all of their upcoming tour dates here.
Below is their official music video for “Black Chandelier”, their lead single from Opposites.
