Holy freakin’ awesome trio of handsome bands! Ivan & Alyosha (headliners), The Lone Bellow, and Twin Forks (formerly Twin Falls [and featuring Dashboard Confessional’s Chris Carrabba]) performed at Johnny Brenda’s in Philly on 4/16. Ivan & Alyosha are currently touring in support of their excellent debut LP All The Times We Had (listen on Spotify) – see all of their upcoming tour dates here. Below is the official music video for their first single from All The Times We Had, “Running For Cover” – great stuff.

Do yourself a favor and listen to The Lone Bellow’s fantastic self-titled debut LP on Spotify. While not quite up to the intensity of their live performance, it’ll be sure to satisfy your hankerin’ for some good ol’ fashioned “Brooklyn country music”. They’ll be continuing on the road with I&A through April before hitting the festival circuit starting in May. See the rest of their tour dates here.

Twin Forks still have yet to release any recorded material, but you can watch them performing “Scraping Up The Pieces” live during SXSW here. They’ll be continuing on the road with I&A and The Lone Bellow through April; however, they’ll be playing a solo headlining show tonight, 4/19 at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, NJ.
