Legendary pop-punkers Green Day performed at the Liacouras Center (located on the Temple University campus) in Philly on 4/3. Their set included songs spanning their 20+ year tenure (all the way back to their 1990 debut LP 39/Smooth) and included Dookie fan-favorites, as well as their most recent singles. Opening for Green Day were the excellent indie dream-pop duo Best Coast. They’ll be heading off on their own headlining tour in May and will return to Philly on 6/5 when they play the TLA. See the rest of Best Coast’s tour dates here.
